California Privacy Notice

This notice is for California residents and supplements our Privacy Policy, reflecting the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA). It also reflects our commitment to the California Age-Appropriate Design Code's goal of putting children's best interests first.

Categories of personal information we collect

• Identifiers: name/nickname, email address, and (for security only) IP address.
• Customer records: hashed password, birth year, and optional parent name/email.
• Internet activity within our Service: your learning progress and practice results.

We collect these directly from you or as you use the Service. We do not collect precise geolocation, biometric data, or sensitive personal information beyond what is listed.

How we use it

Only to provide, secure, and improve the Service and to communicate with you (and, if opted in, a parent). See the Privacy Policy for details.

We do not sell or "share" your personal information

We do not sell personal information and do not "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA. This is true for all users, and we never sell or share the personal information of minors.

Your California rights

• Right to know / access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected.
• Right to delete your personal information.
• Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
• Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — not applicable here because we do neither.
• Right to limit use of sensitive personal information — we do not collect sensitive personal information for such uses.
• Right to non-discrimination for exercising your rights.

How to exercise your rights

Use the Download my data and Delete account tools on your Account page, or email privacy@satgameprep.io. You may use an authorized agent. We will verify requests using the email associated with your account. For a child's account, a parent/guardian may submit the request.

Shine the Light

California Civil Code § 1798.83 permits users to request information about disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their direct marketing.
